Westie cartoon: Westies aren’t scaredy-cats!

This is another brand-new, never-seen-before westie cartoon from my (forthcoming) second cartoon book!

Notice in my westie cartoon that I’m more offended about being called a “cat” than the “scaredy” bit! Just because I’m little and cute and furry! *gets all indignant*

The reason I’m a bit defensive about this is because mum and I regularly visit a local care home. (We volunteer for Outreach Therapy Pets: you can see photos of the ‘real’ Minnie visiting the care home here.) Many of the care home residents have dementia and are a little confused. Some of them call me a “pussy cat”. I will put up with it, provided they give me a nice belly rub! BOL!

Westie cartoon: Sunny days are hard work!

I realise that it’s winter in many parts of the world, but here in New Zealand it is the height of summer!

The sun is shining, the skies are blue, the hibiscus flowers are pawretty… and mum is doing some gardening. As you can see in this month’s westie cartoon, I am very helpful… flat out, in fact! BOL!

Cartoon of the month: Never say no to a pawresent!

Woofings, furiends!

It is the 1st of December already… here in New Zealand, that is officially the first day of summer. (Though the weather’s not very summery just yet!)

The humans are also rushing around getting work finished and pawresents bought before something called “Christmas”… I have no idea what that is (I’m a dog after all!), but I’ll never say now to nice pawresent, as you can see in this month’s Minnie the Westie cartoon!

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, I hope you get lots of lovely pawresents, cuddles and love.

Westie Cartoon: Rain doesn’t stop doggy playtime!

It’s spring-time here in New Zealand, and that means lots of spring rain showers.

Fortunately, the rain doesn’t get in the way of playtime (even if some walks are missed… I am not fond of the rain!)
